Hello friends and family!

It’s been a little over a month since we last updated you guys so here we are! This last month has been absolutely great!

Zekey has been eating well, gaining weight, playing all day long and is close to walking.

Since the last update, Zeke has received two doses of chemo which were 3 weeks apart. Our last session was this past Friday and he’s been doing pretty good since. A little fussy and a little more nauseated but overall he’s on the up. This leaves us with only 2 more sessions! We have another 3 week break for recovery and then before our next therapy session Zeke will have an ultrasound and chest x-ray to make sure everything is staying on track and nothing has changed since surgery. Some point after his final dose of chemo we will do one more MRI of his kidneys and a full body CT scan to confirm that he’s done with treatment. We ask for your continued prayers during this time and that hopefully by the end of this process he will officially be “cancer free”!

Also, this week (2/27) our little warrior is turning 1 years old! Unfortunately with him still being immunocompromised due to the chemo we will not be having a big party but just a small smash cake with his grandparents.

BUT!! We will be having a big belated birthday/cancer free party to celebrate our boy on June 27th 2026! We would love to extend the invite to EVERYONE that has supported us through these last few months. Whether financially, physically, emotionally, or through prayer you are invited!

All details will be announced when the time gets closer, but please put it on your calendar. We’d love to see you all there for Zekey and one day show him how much support and love he received.

Next update will be sometime mid March after his next treatment. See ya soon!
